About the Author
Wade Powers learned the value of the written word while growing up in Southern California. After a stint in the Air Force, he graduated with a Business degree from Cal State University Bakersfield. For more than two decades he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller before turning to a career in writing. Yellowriter.com was aptly named by his wife, Annie, who dubbed Wade as the master of artistic license hence, yellow journalism. He has written two novels, “Skinware” and “Specter of an Accident.” He also composed a handbook for starting christian divorce support groups called “The Covenant Divorce Recovery Leader’s Handbook.” In concert with the handbook, he also published “The Covenant Divorce Recovery Student Workbook”, which is a resource for those attending a Covenant Divorce Recovery Support Group. Wade also put together a collection of love poems titled “To My Annie.” They live in Port Angeles, Washington with their two spoiled toy poodles named Kiki and Jett. The couple have five children.
